This team doesn’t dodge trophies.

The Natick Police Department has earned the title of Battle of the Badges champion for the second straight year.

Team Young Guns defeated the Franklin Fire Department in a best of three championship. Congratulations to team members Sgt. Jamie Verner and Officers Travis Moran, Derek Kane, Christopher Keenan, James Herbert and Katelyn Pfeifer and Sgt. Jamie Verner.

The title came down to the third game when the Natick team pulled it out and secured a victory in what was described as a thrilling final game.

The team thanked the community for its support and looks forward to a three-peat next year.
