They made a splash for a good cause.

Led by Natick public school teacher and coach Nick DiAntonio, students, staff, and community members recently gathered for a Unified assembly and Polar Plunge in support of Special Olympics Massachusetts.

Displaying energy, creativity, and school spirit, the event raised $16,400 to support Special Olympics Massachusetts and inclusive programming across the Natick schools.

The school staff thanked everyone who participated and described the event as “the true meaning of community’’ and  a “powerful celebration of inclusion.’’
