Future Study Supported for Memorial School

The Memorial School building project has been accepted for future study by the Massachusetts School Board Authority.

The board’s unanimous vote allows the Natick public schools to work alongside the MSBA to consider new construction or a renovated and expanded school to replace the existing school through a feasibility study.

“I am grateful for the Town of Natick’s strong relationship of continued support and partnership with the MSBA,’’ State Rep. David Linsky said. “I look forward to seeing this project continue progressing towards the construction of a new, improved school building in Natick.’’

He and Senate President Karen E. Spilka, who represents Natick in the Senate, attended the meeting of the MSBA Board and spoke in favor of the project.
