Natick Police Honored for Traffic Efforts

Natick Police received the 2025 Gold Community Traffic Safety Award Nov. 5 from AAA Northeast.
The department was recognized for its commitment to data-driven enforcement, community outreach, and improving roadway safety for all who live, work, and travel in town.
The award was presented at the AAA Northeast Community Traffic Safety Awards at the DoubleTree in Westborough.
Officer Travis Moran received the AAA Traffic Safety Leadership Award for his work in advancing traffic safety initiatives throughout Natick. His efforts in targeted speed enforcement, impaired-driving initiatives, and community education programs such as the Youth Academy and Citizen’s Police Academy were honored for their impact on enhancing roadway safety across Natick.
Keynote Speaker Kristopher Carter, Chief Possibility Officer for the Massachusetts Department of Transportation shared his insights on statewide roadway safety efforts and innovation.
Mary Maguire, Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Northeast, hosted the event, which recognized efforts of police departments across the region.
