Thanksgiving turkeys are always delectable, but middle schoolers from the Natick Teen Center proved they can also be a sweet treat.

During the week before Thanksgiving, students made edible turkey treats, which were reported to have turned out amazingly well.

The teen center is open to all middle school students living or attending school in Natick.

The program gives middle schoolers a chance to hang with friends, complete homework, or play in the fields, game room and gym. A free snack is provided.

The center is open from 2:10 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the academic year, Natick Teen  provides students a space to hang afterschool and free or reduced cost programs in a variety of topics and interests.
